Our Mission
At the Centro Comunitario de Trabajadores (CCT), we are dedicated to empowering immigrant workers in New Bedford, MA, by advocating for their rights, providing educational resources, and building a supportive community. Our goal is to ensure that every worker enjoys the dignity, safety, and opportunities they deserve.
Our Story
Founded in 2006, CCT was born out of a need to address the injustices faced by immigrant workers in our community. What started as a small group of volunteers has grown into a robust organization committed to making significant impacts in the lives of immigrants. Through our efforts, we’ve championed better working conditions, fair wages, and a stronger, more inclusive community.

CCT’s work has touched the lives of countless individuals and families. From winning crucial labor rights battles to offering educational programs that pave the way for personal and professional growth, our impact is seen and felt across New Bedford and beyond. Our campaigns and initiatives continue to break barriers, ensuring that the immigrant worker community is seen, heard, and valued.
